Paving the way out of a recession

Spectacular Driveways UK Ltd, based in Lockwood opened its doors in 2008 after out growing previous office space.12 years on, the company are now one of the UK’s fastest growing providers of pattern imprinted concrete solutions with a Distribution centre, a training school that offers franchise opportunities, a newly appointed Driveway Surgeon and a DIY pack which as yet to be unveiled.

Founder and Managing Director John Quinn, said; “A lot is happening. The business over the last 12 months has grown significantly. Our training school has given opportunities to individuals from all over the UK. From this we have been able to establish our licensed network with our brand name, as well as having our own installation teams continuing to provide quality pattern imprinted concrete to the Yorkshire area.”

Potential licensees and independent contractors from all parts of the UK are trained the specialists skills at the company’s very own ‘Training Academy’ and are given the broadest possible assistance and support in establishing their own, or a new Spectacular Driveways business in their area.

Despite the current economic climate, the demand for this versatile product is without doubt increasing and attracting the attention from many with its maintenance free aspects.

John explains: “The success of the business, particularly over the last few years, has been a combination of the passion for the industry and qualities of our maintenance free paving and formation of a licensed network of trained and highly skilled installers. We have the technical know how and expertise and I am excited and optimistic that the business will continue to see growth over the coming months.”

Spectacular Driveways is going through a significant phase in history with the North Yorkshire Franchise up and running, interest from overseas and plans push a new product into the retail market.

To celebrate the company’s achievements the company are launching their newly refurbished show site where customers and businesses can take a look at patterns and designs, watch demonstrations and even have ago at printing the concrete themselves.

The open days will take place on the 9th and 10th October between 9am to 4pm and will include special discounts to visitors, fantastic raffle prizes, such as the chance to win a free patio, a 3 day training course and a signed HTAFC shirt. All proceeds will be donated to the forget me knot trust.
