Huddersfield Literature Festival
Virtual Huddersfield worked closely with the Huddersfield Literature Festival to promote their event including the popular Courage Is Poetry Project Competition.
A selection of poems from the Courage Is Poetry Project where placed in key prominent spaces and shops within the Town Centre and here within the Virtual Huddersfield 'virtual' streets.

Over the years we have enjoyed having a presence at the Huddersfield Food & Drink Festivals. We heavily
promoted the events and they have given us
a great platform to let locals know what we
are up to with brochure credits, social

Big Screen Weekends Huddersfield
Virtual
Huddersfield were proud suppliers of video
adverts to the Big Screen Weekend Event. The
event, sponsored by Stafflex Recruitment
held in St. George's Square showed family
film favourites on the big screen over 6
days across 2 weekends. Companies supporting
the event with a bespoke video advert
played throughout the event include Kirklees
College, National Coal Mining Museum, HTAFC,
Kingsgate Shopping Centre and Kirklees
Markets to name just a few.

find out all about Virtual Huddersfield.

fair
Christmas Virtual Huddersfield teamed up with Pennine
FM to produce an Ice Party Night Video
featuring the Huddersfield on Ice Rink. The
video was played continuously at Huddersfield on
Ice at the Piazza Shopping Centre and
Virtual Huddersfield had a
banner up at the rink
to promote our activities.
Also in conjunction with Pennine FM and the HTCPL we
produced a Christmas Cracker Completion video.
Patrick Stewart visited Huddersfield to switch on the
Christmas Lights and Virtual Huddersfield were there to capture the
festivities and fantastic atmosphere.
Kirklees Markets
Simon Flatley, MD of Virtual Huddersfield is
pictured with Mayor Julie Stewart-Turner and
husband Darrel.
The Mayor officially launched the
Queensgate Market website which was created
and is maintained by Virtual Huddersfield on
behalf of Kirklees Council.

Every year since Virtual Huddersfield was established we have
been proud to be a sponsor of the Holmfirth Duck
Race which raise many thousands of pounds for local good causes. The
organisers usually sell 10,000 tickets with a race attendance of 3-5,000
depending on the weather.
