The Christmas Lights switch-on marks the official
start of the Festive season. Special guest Santa
Claus will switch the fantastic lights on with a
Huddersfield Town football star, mascot Terry the
Terrier and a lucky young competition winner. |

Switch on & Festival of Light 2006 (and Ice Skating !!)
Huddersfield Christmas Shopping Season 2006 started with the Switch
on of the Christmas Lights by "Marlon Dingle" the Piazza
Shopping Centre Huddersfield helped by the cast of
Merlin from the LBT, Father Christmas, Piazza Mascot Albie, and many
more. Followed by acrobatics and fireworks at the Festival of
Light.
