Shop on Sundays
Every month on the Second Sunday, Huddersfield is hosting a Sunday shopping event in the town centre.
Lots of town centre shops are open as well as Queensgate Market.
It's Upmarket Sundays and the Alternative Youth Market on New Street, plus FREE parking all day in the multi-storey Market Hall car park.

Young stallholders will be selling handmade fashions, photography, arts and crafts, jewellery, home baking, flavoured vodkas, hampers, gifts and toys.

To make the shopping experience even better there is an Alternative Market stage featuring a line-up of local young talent.

Diners can choose great food from foodie stalls such as the American Road Hog diner and Kerico South American food as well as fresh coffee from Café Maison.

The Alternative Market was set up so that young entrepreneurs aged 13-29 could showcase their talent, and the people of Kirklees could take advantage of an enhanced shopping experience in the town centre.

FREE places are available for all the markets.
