Situated on Blanket Hall Street linking the High Street and Morrison’s the market is the destination for food shoppers in the town centre.

Produce on sale on both days includes fresh fruit and vegetables, much of which is locally sourced, cooked meats and pies, a traditional butcher selling local meat, plus cakes, breads, cards and traditional sweets. The pet shop offers a great selection of pet food and supplies, including handmade bird boxes and pet hutches.

On Tuesdays the market offers fresh flowers and plants, ladies clothing and fresh fish, a great venue for local shopping.
