Huddersfield is Breast Feeding Friendly
A WORD FROM THE ORGANISER
As part of the Baby Friendly Initiative program I have been appointed as Kirklees Baby Friendly Initiative Coordinator representing NHS Kirklees to work in partnership with the Huddersfield Retail sector in terms of providing Breastfeeding Friendly Towns across Kirklees This has been an exciting development and many retailers have responded positively to providing a welcoming atmosphere to all breastfeeding mothers. I hope that this contact information is useful as I am aware that some mothers have experienced difficulties in the past. In the meantime I look forward to developing links with even more retailers in the months to come. Some of the retailers have offered to put a poster in their window so, please look out for this also in the coming months.
I am pleased to have been working on this development in collaboration with Virtual Huddersfield.
Many thanks for your continued support.
